Instructional Design Badge

To earn this badge, I demonstrated proficiency in conducting thorough needs assessments to identify training requirements. I developed clear and concise instructional scripts that kept the problem or complex task at the center of the instruction. Additionally, I showcased competence in designing assessments, incorporating scenarios, and following the ADDIE framework. My experience also includes collaborating with SMEs and stakeholders to gather essential information and ensure successful outcomes.

Earning Criteria

• Earners must go through the entire analysis and design phase during an internship to create a complete learning solution. The entire process can take up to 13 weeks, depending on the project. During this time, an intern works closely with a mentor or supervisor to identify learning objectives and determine the best approach to achieving them.

• Earners must submit the needs analysis, course design, and instructional scripts to IDOL Academy faculty for evaluation. This is a pass-fail assessment.
