Context
This course was created for early-career physical therapists at PhyziX who needed practical strategies to make better use of unstructured time during the workday. The 30-minute eLearning experience introduces therapists to three proven time management techniques: time blocking, the Eisenhower Matrix, and the Two-Minute Rule. Delivered through real-life clinical scenarios and interactive practice activities, the course was designed to be mobile-friendly, accessible, and immediately applicable within a clinical setting.
Challenge
Therapists were experiencing long breaks between patients without a clear plan for how to use that time effectively. This led to incomplete documentation, missed administrative tasks, and limited time for professional development. These issues were affecting individual productivity and overall clinic performance.
Solution
The course uses engaging storytelling and interactive modules to help learners apply specific time management techniques in context. Through self-assessments, realistic scenarios, and guided practice, therapists develop personalized strategies they can immediately apply to structure their day, prioritize tasks, and stay focused during downtime.
Impact
The course helped therapists streamline administrative work, prioritize more effectively, and make space for continuous learning. Within two weeks of launch, 80 percent of learners were applying at least two of the strategies consistently. This contributed to timely documentation, improved patient care, and stronger overall clinic performance. The project demonstrated my ability to translate a business need into a targeted, learner-centered solution that drives measurable results.
